Residential Fencing – Jobsite Estimator
From $18 an hour – Full-time
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain company-customer relationships
- Travel to meet with customers on-site to qualify project needs
- Accurately create project drawings and site plans
- Effectively communicate with team members and customers
- Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
- Get quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
- Daily collaboration and communication with installation crew related to open projects
- Assess the risk levels associated with a project
- Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
- Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
- Monitoring costs at the different stages of a project to ensure staying within budget costs
- Finalize all sales with signed agreement/ contract
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Must Be a Self-Starter, detail oriented, with well-developed time management skills
- Exceptional customer service, problem resolution, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust to maintain effective customer relationships
- Proficiency with the full suite of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior site estimator experience related to exterior building products
- BUILDERTREND software experience
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
